Middle & High School

The Middle and High School Department encompasses Grades 6 through 12. From Grade 6 onwards, students are placed in gender-segregated classrooms but continue to share common areas and school facilities throughout the day.

The Educational Program

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that emphasizes key aspects of students’ physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. The program promotes child-centered learning and provides a stimulating, challenging environment tailored to the needs of young adolescents and teenagers.

At the Middle and High School levels, we follow the Virginia Standards of Learning, which have been thoughtfully adapted to meet the specific needs of our students. All instructional resources and teaching materials are aligned with American educational standards.

The Educational Program

Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce several forward-thinking academic initiatives, including:

  • Problem-Based Learning (PBL)
  • 1:1 BYOT (Bring Your Own Tablet) Technology Integration
  • Computer Coding Courses
  • Leadership Training Opportunities
  • STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • American College Collaborative STEM Program

We have selected 30 male and female students to participate in a yearlong STEM college curriculum, which will conclude with a three-week capstone STEM project in the United States, where students will showcase their learning and participate in a final project ceremony.
